Crockett & Jones Islay Dark Brown Scotch Country Grain Boots UK9.5. Islay, a full brogue derby boot with wing tip design and bold punching detail. Made from dark brown scotch country grain leather. Made in England at the Crockett & Jones factory in Northampton. These are a UK size 9.5. Constructed on C&J’s Last 365; a Main Collection last, with a broad round toe. C&J’s most generous fitting last in the collection, 365 has plenty of room in the forepart and heel. Goodyear-welted Dainite rubber soles with a storm welt for added water resistance. Original Crockett & Jones box and dust bags are included in the final sale (as pictured). These are brand new, direct from the Crockett & Jones factory: marked as’SUBS. Because their standards are so high, Crockett & Jones will mark a shoe as’SUBS’ if there is a blemish, discolouration or any inconsistency in the texture of the leather. Or, if a single stitch is out of place. These are marked as subs. Due to a faint imperfection on the toe area around the lower part of the medallion on the right boot. This is only a superficial defect. Shoe trees not included. These are brand new; see pictures above for illustration.
